Ooit was Villa Zanelli een prachtig gebouw aan de kust van de bloemenriviéra op enige afstand van Savona.  Uitbreidingen van het industriegebied omsloten het pand.  En ook die industrie- scheepsbouw- is inmiddels ter ziele.
Nu staat het daar onbewoond en prijs gegeven aan het verval te mijmeren over betere tijden.

Once Villa Zanelli was a fine building at the 'Rivièra Fiori', at the seaside close to Savona. But the industrial areas extended and surrounded the house. But the industrial activities - ship building- are ended now.
The house stil stands there, untenanted and almost beyound repair. Muse on better times.
